BD House Design publishes plain language guides, cost ranges and design ideas that thousands of families and businesses read before they build.
When a reader is ready, they tell us their plot or flat size, city, budget and timeline. We match them with up to three partner firms that work in their area and do that kind of project. The client then compares written quotes and signs directly with the firm they choose.
We are not an architecture firm or contractor, and we never compete with our partners for work.

Our partner standards
These checks protect clients and keep the programme valuable for every partner. Firms cannot pay to skip them.
- Proof of registration: IAB membership, IEB membership or a valid trade licence
- At least three completed projects with clients we can call
- Written quotes with a bill of quantities (BOQ) for every client
- Milestone payments only, never a large advance
- A reply to every enquiry within two working days
- Structural work designed and built to BNBC 2020

Applying and verification cost nothing. Approved partners pay either a fee per introduction or a monthly listing fee, agreed in writing before your first enquiry. Clients never pay us.

How much does it cost to become a partner?
Applying and verification are free. Once approved, you pay a fee per introduction or a monthly listing fee. The fee is agreed in writing before we send your first enquiry.
How long does verification take?
Usually five to ten working days. It depends on how quickly we can confirm your registration and reach your project references.
Which documents do I need?
A trade licence or an IAB or IEB membership certificate is required. A company profile or portfolio is optional but helps us understand your work.
Can small firms and freelancers apply?
Yes. Team size does not matter. What matters is registration, completed projects we can verify and a commitment to written quotes and milestone payments.
Do you guarantee a number of projects?
No. We send every matching enquiry in your cities and services, but the number depends on demand in your area and how clients choose between quotes.
Can a partner be removed?
Yes. Firms that ignore enquiries, ask for large advances or leave clients stranded are removed from the programme.
